In addition to micrometers, feeler gauges, torque wrenches, etc., EMEI DIESEL has a large number of special tools such as extractors, plates, guides, presses, seal installers, etc.
The equipment received is inspected for faults and if it appears to be repairable, it is then dismantled and inspected further by qualified EMEI DIESEL technicians who inspect the main components for wear and ensure the cause of the problem.
Qualified EMEI DIESEL technicians visually inspect the main components of the engine or gearbox looking for the cause(s) of the problem(s), and for wear. With special tools the technicians inspect dimensions such as axle diameters, crankshafts, bores, seals, etc.… and record all the results.
Once the overhaul is approved all major components are cleaned with solvent followed by compressed air cleaning before assembly. Each component is carefully assembled. All bearings, shims, bushings, axle seals, gaskets, lock washers, linings, bushings, and locknuts are replaced. Tightening and tolerances are made according to manufacturing characteristics and all our work is guaranteed
